Chroma Zone Mural Artist 2021

NÜ-ONE

South Minneapolis artist Nü-ONE is a self taught muralist. I enjoy working with all mediums but nothing allows the type of artistic expression that using painting murals does. I draw inspiration from my friends, music and my surroundings.

About his BANG IT! Mural:

The name of this mural will be aptly titled “It was all a dream.” This is a direct reference to a number of recording artists, in particular Biggie Smalls (Notorious BIG), as the opening bars of “Juicy” start “It was all a dream” and goes on to explain the things he aspired to achieve and the song is an anthem celebrating the achievement of one's goals and or dreams. In my mind, I am also very reminded of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech.

This mural will be created with these intentions in mind and the imagery will reflect that sentiment lyrically and symbolically.
